What is NextGen?

NextGen is a digital career development platform dedicated to equipping African youth with in-demand digital competencies, ethical discipline, and performance-driven professional conditioning.

Through structured training, real-world projects, portfolio development, and professional mentoring, NextGen helps young Africans transition from learning digital skills to applying them in real-world opportunities such as remote work, entrepreneurship, and collaborative digital projects.

Is NextGen a legitimate program?

Yes.

NextGen is a registered organization in Nigeria and operates as an Incorporated Trustee registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

NextGen has also been issued a SCUML certificate by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which confirms compliance with regulatory requirements for organizations operating within Nigeria’s financial and nonprofit oversight framework.

Who develops the courses and lessons?

Are NextGen certifications recognized?

Yes.

Certificates demonstrate that a student has completed practical, industry-relevant training. Graduates can use them to apply for remote jobs, freelance opportunities, or entrepreneurship ventures, both locally and internationally.

Is NextGen tuition-free?

Yes.

We do not charge tuition fees. Students only pay a small commitment fee of ₦9,500 (≈$7–$8 USD) to confirm their seriousness. Our programs are funded through partnerships, sponsorships, and ecosystem support, making professional training accessible.

Will NextGen help me get a job?

Yes.

Well-performing students who qualify for the Professional Readiness Accelerator (PRA) and afterwards paid internship program, can get full-time jobs.

The Professional Readiness Accelerator (PRA) is an intensive professional conditioning phase designed to prepare students for real digital work environments.

This program goes beyond technical skills to develop discipline, execution standards, and professional behaviors required in global remote teams.

Students are trained in:

Professional communication and workplace etiquette
Accountability, reliability, and deadline discipline
Task management systems and productivity workflows
Team collaboration in structured digital environments
Delivering high-quality work that meets real client expectations

The PRA simulates the standards and pressure of real digital work environments, ensuring students transition from learners to performance-ready professionals.

Students who successfully complete the PRA and demonstrate strong performance may be selected for tiered internship opportunities in real digital work environments.
